Rosé Fondugues Grenache & Cabernet 2023

Located in Ramatuelle, in the south of France, Fondugues-Pradugues estate practices a holistic approach to agriculture, from harvesting to winemaking.

Their Grenache & Cabernet Sauvignon is a Provence UFO. With its deep color and aromatic intensity, this rosé goes against the current of what is typically produced in the region today. The grapes, cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, undergo no chemical intervention throughout their growth and are harvested at full maturity during the night to preserve their freshness.

In the cellar, no chemical products are used, and only natural yeasts do the work. After fermentation, the fine lees are left in contact with the wine for a 4-month aging «sur lies» (on lees) with stirring.

It presents a beautiful intense apricot color with coral reflections. On the nose, a fresh floral bouquet with elegant notes of white peaches and candied apricots.
On the palate, it is a robust rosé with texture and substance, delicate notes of vineyard peach, lovely tension, and salinity on the finish.
