Rouge Els Vinyerons Tempranillo 2023

In the Upper Penedès region of Southern Catalonia, Amós Bañeres is a prime example of the surge of natural wines in Catalonia, both through his Vinya Oculta estate and the Els Vinyerons project, which he leads alongside Alex Ruiz.

For this edition of Canetta, Amos has vinified Ull de llebre (Tempranillo), a grape variety known for its freshness! It displays a beautiful aromatic intensity, typical of wines from the southern regions, with ripe fruit, spices, and lightly toasted notes, while remaining incre- dibly light. Amós skillfully maintains freshness without compromising its Mediterranean character. The harvest is carried out by hand, and the juice macerates for 10 days after destemming.
