Conserverie Sillon is an artisanal cannery in Toulouse that puts slow-cooked French dishes into glass jars. Here beef is simmered at length in a red wine bourguignon sauce lifted with smoked pepper, then finished with potatoes and small vegetables so the jar is a complete meal.

Boeuf Bourguignon features:

• 37% beef in a bourguignon sauce of red wine, veal bone stock, tomato concentrate and butter.
• Potatoes, carrots and Paris mushrooms, seasoned with smoked pepper and vadouvan.
• Reheat gently in a pan for around five minutes.
• 370g jar. Contains sulphites.
