Ruvido – Orbit

Orbit by Ruvido.

Ruvido is an independent bean-to-bar project started in February 2025 by Mattia Intorre and Giulia Mandalà, produced in the province of Milan. Orbit is made from 2024 cacao grown by the Pangoa cooperative in the highlands of Junín, Peru, where around 700 smallholder farmers work biodiverse plots between 700 and 1200 metres, with cacao growing alongside citrus, bananas and shade trees.

Orbit features:

• Two ingredients only: 75% single-origin cocoa beans and cane sugar, with no added cocoa butter.
• Peru Pangoa, 2024 harvest, centralised fermentation in two-tiered wooden boxes and seven days of sun drying.
• Tasting notes of white flowers and grapefruit.
• Rough texture from refining for under 12 hours, around half the usual industry time. 50g resealable pack.
