B.A.D 2023

B.A.D. (Big Ass Dornfelder) is a direct-press Dornfelder from a high-altitude, clay-limestone vineyard. Due to a busy harvest, this vineyard was almost missed, but the grapes, dried by sun and wind, were discovered to be tiny, ripe, and concentrated. Direct pressing highlighted the minerality of the soil. Bottled in late August, this pure juice is ripe (13% ABV) and considered an incredible wine.
