Luis Pato – Nerd Duck

Made in Bairrada, Portugal by the Pato family – stewards of the region's native grapes. Nerd Duck is a Palhete-style wine: 95% Maria Gomes (white grape) co-fermented with 5% Baga (red grape), the skins of the Baga macerating with the Maria Gomes juice for five days to give colour, grip and depth. Pale copper-red, bright and unusual.
